CNC Horizontal Machinist (Mazak)- 1st shift

Kocsis is equipped with a broad range of state-of-the-art equipment and is committed to continually upgrading and expanding our offerings. We value our employees and are searching for an individual who wants to positively contribute to our company.

Job Description

Kocsis is looking for an experienced CNC Horizontal Machinist to join our growing team. As a CNC Horizontal Machinist, you will be primarily machining small lot, high value-added, large precision parts for various industries. As an employee, you must demonstrate a high regard for safety at all times and will be required to work the hours necessary to support the demand, which will most likely include overtime.

Responsibilities

Verify revision levels of programs on repeat jobs.
Sign off route sheets verifying conformance of parts.
Operate machine tool to manufacture parts to print specifications as needed.
Inspect machined features and document measurements on inspection report.
Communicate with manufacturing engineer regarding blueprint inconsistencies or improvements on job travelers.
Communicate and suggest process changes to manufacturing engineer and management.
Follow production schedules and communicate suggestions to scheduler regarding deviations to schedules.
Notify QC and/or supervisor of non-conforming parts.
Assist with job quoting as required.
Other duties may be assigned.

Skills

A minimum of 3-5 years of experience and/or training in a job shop environment.
Experience setting up and operating horizontal machining centers.
The ability to perform setups and machine large precise parts efficiently.
The skill to handle, load, and unload parts up to 4,000 lbs.
A proficiency at reading drawings.
The ability to make tool offsets and edit programs.
The skill to setup tools.

Job Description

Maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems within a manufacturing company.

Responsibilities

Maintain, dismantle, repair, and replace mechanical and hydraulic on manufacturing equipment and machinery.
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on industrial equipment and machinery.

Skills

Work Experience: 5 years working in mechanical and electrical maintenance
Use various hand or power tools for mechanical maintenance purposes.
Knowledge of machine shop operations and precision machinery would be beneficial
Schedule flexibility to optimize cross shift communication and interaction with all shift personnel
Experience in a manufacturing environment
Related technical training preferred

Assembly Technician- Hydraulics Division

Job Description

In this position you will primarily be responsible for assembling starters and accumulators for our Hydraulics division.

Responsibilities

Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, sub-assemblies, tools, and materials.
Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit, fastening parts and sub-assemblies.
Resolves assembly problems notifying supervisor to obtain additional resources.
Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
Documents actions by completing production and quality forms.
Saw cutting of raw materials, aluminum and steel parts.

Skills

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must be able to display a mechanical aptitude.
Must be able to read a drawing.
Forklift experience is a plus.
